Providence in the New Testament


The New Testament was not randomly written, it is God’s Word that is God-breathed and everything recorded within these pages was and is a reflection of God’s work in and through His people. This work and leading of God reminds us of the Lord’s providential power and care for us. This concept of providence in application to the New Testament is here considered.

The Uniqueness of the Gospel of Christ


In presenting the story of our salvation in Jesus Christ, the New Testament describes how the Kingdom of God has come among us, it reveals how God’s Name is made known to us in Christ, and it presents the crux of the Gospel (the Good News) and the foundation of our salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. He became our sin (2 Cor. 5:21); He became our curse (Galatians 3:13); and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
