Tonight Christmas Eve 7 pm and Tomorrow Christmas Morning 9:30 am at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church of Irvine
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Blessed Christmas dear Christian! The Holy Eve is soon upon us and the Holy Day is almost here.
This evening we worship at 7:00 pm at Crean Lutheran High School, 12500 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine. This is a candlelight service with a lot of Christmas music, Christmas readings, and a sermon that presents Isaiah’s prophecy of Christ in Isaiah 9:1-7.
Tomorrow morning is a service with Holy Communion at 9:30 am. The sermon is based on Isaiah 52:7-10 and our organist/choir director Karissa Lystrup has once again planned some wonderful special music. This morning service is also at Crean.
Finally we have arrived to Christmas after a blessed Advent season of preparation. Starting tomorrow, the 12 days of Christmas begin.
Just a few reminders:
1) Today we are setting up the gym at 2:00 pm. Come on out if you can help. Hopefully we can put everything together in well under an hour.
2) The Christmas Eve choir is asked to arrive at 6:20 pm.
3) Doors open at 6 pm tonight and 8:45 am tomorrow morning for the musicians to get set up.
SERVICE tonight begins at 7:00 pm.
SERVICE tomorrow begins at 9:30 am.
