Tomorrow’s gospel text from Luke 12 is a fantastic Bible passage and leads us to answer the question above: “What Are You Worth?” We work, we earn, we attain, we build, we gather, we keep, we invest…where does it go and what is it for? In the end — and along the way for that matter — do these things really define us? We are tempted to permit them to. This is the world’s way. The Lord gives us a different perspective; the true one, the lasting one. To Him — in Christ — the whole discussion about our worth takes a radical shift. Come and receive this word tomorrow morning.

Come also to receive the life-giving Holy Sacrament. Come and be assured once again that your sins are wiped away and that eternal life is yours in Jesus!

Tomorrow we also receive new members (again!). We are so blessed. Come celebrate our growing family!
